To navigate in reality you need to simplify it

Posted by Seppo Sairanen on 6.11.2018 14:01

A few days ago I managed to catch a cold. To get something else to think than my miserable being I tried to find something light and easy to read from my book shelves. Nothing seemed to be interesting.

Finally in my not so well arranged library I noticed a misplaced small black book titled The Decision Book. I guess it caught my attention because at that moment my ability to make any decision was even worse than normally.

Kun pelin uuden version lanseeraukseen on 8 viikkoa aikaa

Posted by Viking Theories on 2.10.2018 15:33

Posted by Heli Saarelainen on 25.9.2018 11:32

Olimme viime viikolla oppimiseen ja kehittymiseen keskittyvässä Dare to Learn -tapahtumassa Kaapelitehtaalla.

Soft skills make us stronger – Dare to Learn 2018

Posted by Viking Theories on 11.9.2018 14:55

”Too often in the everyday life of workplaces emotions have been considered as a sign for weakness, soft skills, unmeasurable and purely something fluffy,” writes researcher Henrika Anttila.

Fortunately, a change is on its way: in many organizations, socio-emotional skills are more and more seen as key competences.

What do you do for work? I combine leadership theories with vikings

Posted by Heli Saarelainen on 7.9.2018 14:49

”What is it you are exactly doing nowadays? What is this Viking thing?”

This is a question I have heard quite often during last six months.

”We are developing a leadership game where vikings help leaders to understand better their team members” is usually not seen as a fully comprehensive answer. Though it should be.

Future leaders are constant learners

Posted by Heli Saarelainen on 27.6.2018 9:25

We all know that work is changing, and eventually we workers ourselves are changing as well. But what does it really mean? What kind of transformation white-collar workers go through in following years?

Last week at EdTechX event, e-Learning professional Benjamin Vedrenne-Cloquet shared his vision about the future. And it surely was an interesting vision, indeed.
